High Performance Dual channel Class D Audio Amplifier and dedicated Power supply set.

The CxD2160 Class D Amplifier is based on the very popular Class D audio amplifier controller IRS2092S. Output power 160W on 8R or up to 200W on 4R impedance supplied at +-55V from its dedicated Power supply, SMPS320RxE which provide all required supply voltages and control signals for Mute at power ON/Off, DC output protection and overload, increasing the overall efficiency, and reducing the idle power consumption to less than 9W overall consumption, SMPS+Amplifier. The input section features fully balanced input, with 2x10Kr impedance, full protection set, over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, Speaker DC component protection, click/pop free start-up and shut-down.

CxD2160 amplifier together with its dedicated Power Supply, SMPS320RxE form the smallest amplifier+SMPS combination at the 2×150+W power level. with both boards measuring just 50x100mm and 35mm tall for the standard SMPS320RxE or 30mm for the low-profile SMPS320RxE unit, ultra-compact amplifiers can be built. 12 amplifier modules or more can be stacked in a single 1RU case, making this amplifier module suitable for PA multi-channel applications. as well as multi-channel home-theatre systems.
