Power Soft Start v3

Description

Soft Start Circuit for mains transformer of the amplifier. In an Amplifier System, it allows the slow-charge of the large Electrolytic Capacitors connected in the secondary side of the Mains Transformer after the Bridge Rectifier, to avoid blowing the Mains Fuse during Power ON sequence due to inrush overcurrent, when high capacity filter capacitors are charging.

It can provide a regulated aux. voltage of 12V and up to 100mA useful for supplying the Amplifier Control Circuits and has a remote turn ON function implemented which allows to connect or disconnect the transformer using an external logic signal.
