Description

High Performance Stereo Class D Audio Amplifier with integrated Power supply. IRS2600SMPS is based on the very popular Class D audio amplifier controller IRS2092S. Output power is 2x600W on 4R or up to 2x350W on 8R with THD and noice below 1%.

IRS2600SMPS can be powered from 120V (100-127V) or 230V (210-245V) mains voltage It has on-board fully-regulated, high-efficiency resonant power supply which ensure constant supply voltage for IRS2600SMPS Amplifier power stage independent on the mains supply voltage value. Amplifier gain is 32.65, Input sensitivity 1.5V RMS for 600W on 4R output power. Input Impedance is 20K. Frequency response from 20Hz to 18KHz has better than 1.5dB linearity and 3dB from 16Hz to 22KHz. Damping factor >300.

Input section features fully balanced input, with 2x10K impedance, full protection set, over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, Speaker DC component protection, click/pop free start-up and shut-down. The amplifier efficiency is over 94% at 4R and 96% at 8R and SMPS efficiency is over 94% at 50% load. The overall efficiency from mains to speaker is up to 90% for 4R and up to 91% for 8R. Idle power consumption is ~16W with amplifier On and less than 5W with SMPS On and amplifier Muted.

IRS2600SMPS is installed on an aluminium base and weights just a little over one kilogram. The overall size of the PCB and baseplate is just 165x200mm and 45mm tall for low-profile version or up to 60mm for the version fitted with larger capacitors, allowing ultra-compact amplifiers to be built.
