Single output, 24V, 36V 48V or 72V high-current output plus an auxiliary 12V 500mA regulated voltage output. Half Bridge resonant SMPS capable of delivering 500W continuous and 600W peak power. the stock available output voltages are adjustable within 24V to 31V range for 24V version, 45 to 52V for the 48V version and 68 to 75V for the 72V version. It uses zero-voltage switching half bridge resonant topology. The main advantage is lower size and cost compared with a similar regulated SMPS and better efficiency, up to 94% compared with the regulated SMPS's due to the fact that the transistors are soft-switched, and the current through the switches has sinusoidal shape, and there are no output inductors. The SMPS features overcurrent protection which limit the output current at about 130% of the maximum peak power, about 700W. This power supply is suitable for class D/T amplifiers, which requires single high-current supply in range of 24V to 30V. Target applications for this power supply unit include the TK2050 based amplifiers, TPSxxx amplifiers and any other class D/T amplifier which requires 24-30V DC with maximum supply current 20A, TPSxxxx Class D amplifiers which requires supply voltage of 48-50V DC with current up to 10A and other type of amplifiers.
