TA3020 Based amplifier with on board High-efficiency regulated voltage resonant power supply with very low noise and EMI. There are two versions of this amplifier, one is capable to deliver 300W at 4 Ohms on each channel in single ended mode or 960W in BTL mode, and a powerful version capable of delivering 400W on each channel in Single-Ended mode and up to 1340W on 4 Ohms in BTL mode. All these power ratings are real, conservative RMS values, when the amplifier is supplied with 115VAC or 230VAC mains voltage. The actual power rating with 1% THD can be in excess of 2x500W or 1650W in BTL mode if the mains voltage is stable and the amplifier has proper cooling. The amplifier can be powered from an AC mains supply with the voltage of 230V AC 50Hz or 110V AC 60Hz. It has on-board IEC mains connector and connector for mains switch. The heatsinks are kept at moderate temperature by a variable speed cooling fan, whose speed is temperature dependent for low noise operation. The size of the board is 230mm long, 100mm wide and 38mm tall, suitable to be installed into 1RU housing. Only need a case with connectors and potentiometers to make a high-end highly efficient and compact amplifier, whose overall size would be about 4 Inch wide, 2 inch tall and 8 inch long and the total weight including housing around 1.5 Kg. The amplifier module weights only 850 grams without housing, having the best output power / weight ratio among other available amplifiers on the market.
